On Sunday, nogroup event was planned, so host families were able to introduce theGerman students to many different American experiences.   Some of thevisitors just wanted to see a supermarket!   Sunday night, a barbequebrought the group together again.   On Monday, the group, except forthose who couldn’t afford to miss school, walked to the EisenhowerPresidential Library and Museum.   They had a small tour of the Libraryand archives, and walked through the museum.   They even had picturestaken in front of the Oscar Meier Wienermobile!   After, the grouptraveled to the Heritage Center and toured the phone museum, had lunch, and rode the carousel!   That night, the group got together once morefor a surprise birthday party for one of the Kavelaer students!
